How the instrument was lost

This was a Selmer SBA alto saxophone, stolen whilst I was teaching at Jackson’s Lane Community Centre in Highgate, London in 1995/96 (I think late ’95). On the day I filed a report with Harnsey police station. I was given a crime reference number, but I no longer have that. Part of the cost was covered by an insurer at the time, but in my youth I hadn’t taken out enough insurance to cover the cost of a new instrument.
